"A buoyant blog of personal aesthetics."
Ciel H. is a sophomore Journalism student coping up with the high demands and idiosyncrasies of her academic life. She's a paramour of the arts, as she enjoys all of its fields -- particularly photography, drawing and poetry.
She loves anything black & white, the classics, and anything from the 19th century and the '60s. ♥
This little corner serves as her journal/sketchbook/album/portfolio where all of her fancies/personal junk go. As a feel-good blogger, expect less drama.
Her main tumblr is here, where all of the nonsensical things about her are lurking. Beware!

Went to the Philippine Fashion Week Holiday 2012 last Thursday with my best friend Diana and her two blockmates at De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde. :-) Thanks to the tickets from Mr. Ezra Santos’ secretary, I got the chance to watch a fashion show for the first time. While I was searching what to wear for a fashion show, one of the pages in Google said that wearing shorts is inappropriate (which made it so hard for me to find an outfit since most of my lower body garments are shorts and mini skirts!), thus I wore black pants. Upon reaching the venue of the fashion show, to my dismay, there were a lot of people wearing shorts. ;___; At least I know now. :p
Anyway, back to my post, I was very happy that I got to see a lot of avant-garde designs from this showcase! Too bad that we sat on the very back since we were a bit late. And I personally think Ezra Santos had the most glamorous collection! I just love the disco ball-ish dress that appeared first in his collection! <3

Crappy photos, I know. Forgive meeee.
‘Til then!
Pre-final, still WIP, because I am not satisfied of it :-| I used watercolor ink and watercolor for this :-)
Watercolour mixed with photoshop (background) because it’s nighttime here in my place that the photo I took was crappy. :-| In the meantime, this is it.
Hello! It’s been quite a while since I’ve talked here. Been busy with renovating our room. Recently I’ve been trying to improve my watercolour painting and finally I got to test my Dr. Phil Martin’s watercolour ink! :-)

Swatches of Dr. Phil’s watercolour ink on regular paper. Very strong colors.

The difference between plain watercolour and watercolour ink is that the latter gives stronger hues, and that the color lasts longer when washed.

WIP.
Mixed watercolour and watercolour ink. On regular paper, the watercolour ink dries up so fast that I had a hard time when washing. On watercolour paper, washing watercolour ink is as easy as plain watercolour; but the colours are become lighter on said paper.
Fate is a gravitational force that pulls every being in its natural course. Some say fate is doing by a Supreme Being which gives fate an ill name to humanism; but I say otherwise. Fate plays a significant role in man’s chronicle of life. Fate is the result of man’s subconscious desire. Everything that happens, the good and the bad, occurs due to our actions that we may or may not have thought of their consequences.
If one says he yearns for fame — he will achieve fame when he is motivated. This is fate. If he still says he yearns for such and yet had not achieved it, he did not really desire fame; for what man desires so much he shall get for himself; if he has not possessed it, man did not truly desire.
Of what I say may be falsified, but this is what I keep believing on.
Same site, different theme and feeling. Just shot my younger brother out of fun. :-)

So he’s skinnier than me! Haha! Gah he looks like a Super Junior member -___-

My favorite shot! :-D
